Review on 🎧 Enhanced Communication Experience with Plantronics Savi 740 Wireless Headset System by Jennifer Groom

I'm writing this review using my new Savi 740 headset microphone rather than the cheap ones offered by Nuance. All of my research into Dragon's dictation shows that a quality microphone is absolutely essential. This headset met my expectations. It offers excellent speech recognition and easily blocks out background noise, even though I'm using it in an open-door office. A few surprises should be mentioned. First, whether there is a way to connect the base station and headset to my MacBook Pro is not clear from the product documentation. So I connected the base station via the USB port. Second, I have found that most buyers of this product will use it with cell phones and not for dictation. Finally, the product is marketed for "Unified Communications". This means that it is designed to be used with your phone, mobile phone or computer. Using a computer is for pairing with Skype or Google Voice. Presumably it also works with FaceTime and other voice chat apps. Due to the inability to connect to my computer via Bluetooth, the installation took a little longer than I wanted. However, once I gave in to the inevitable need for a USB connection, things went fast. All in all, this writing will become an important tool in my legal practice. There may come a day when I need to connect it to my mobile phone and use it normally, but for now I'm happy with its performance in dictation.
