Review on 🦆 Duck 286218 XL Patio Door Shrink Film Window Insulation Kit, 1-Pack, Crystal Clear by Richard Payne

For those of you who doubt your ability and ability to install this properly like I did, FEAR NO. I've never installed anything like this before, and be careful, I'm not the handyman/male type either. But I had absolutely no problems installing it and as promised it's really crystal clear. Repeat the whole thing: I had areas that slightly overlapped, creating a crease. The way I attached the plastic was clearly and visibly slightly crooked to one side. I wasn't sure if shrinking would solve the problem, but after about 15 minutes of blow drying it definitely helped. The crease smooths out much faster. Attached is a photo of the finished product. You can't really tell it's film other than a ghostly reflection on the film itself. You can see the curled edges because I only roughly trimmed the excess with scissors after I was done. If you're anything like me, you'll probably end up with a slightly skewed movie application, and the added bonus ensures you don't leave a gap. As for me, I first trimmed the entire film to its longest length and didn't cut the sides. I glued the top first, then the sides, then the bottom, THEN I cut off the excess at the bottom. Seriously, I don't know what that plastic wrap is made of, but it shrinks like no other and I have to say I can't believe how crystal clear it's gotten.
