These socks are much thinner than I usually wear. I can see my heels through the fabric. I would wear them with sneakers but they are too thin for sports. It's not a kick in the toe. They are designed for athletic use and are probably great for running or cycling. I know some runners who prefer thin socks. I'm prone to blisters and other irritations, so I prefer thicker socks with better cushioning in the heel and toe for aerobic activities. They also have to be good at transporting moisture away. My feet don't usually sweat even when I move a lot, so I can't say for sure. The fabric feels soft and comfortable and the socks are well stitched. Thin socks are excellent. They are too thin for me personally.
