I have used other sound absorbing products before. This one is a little different. The ones I've used in the past have been thinner, heavier, and had a more rubbery texture. It's a bit thicker and foamier. I confess I couldn't wind it up like the instructions say. I have a Jeep and the subwoofer enclosure is plastic and too flexible. The bass makes it gasp. I tried stuffing the body with fiberfill but it still rattled. I've used this to try and stop the vibration and it seems to be working fine. I wasn't able to cut out the templates to get the perfect coverage but it was enough. Looking forward to trying it on a lighter surface. Sticks very well. The backing paper comes off immediately. I really like how light it is. A good product.
