Review on πŸ”Š Kaysuda Bluetooth Conference Speakerphone - Wireless Microphone and Speaker for Mobile Phone and Computer, USB Office Speakerphone - Skype and Zoom Compatible by Kate Anderson

Why did I wait so long to get something like this?

Not sure what I expected, but it was less than I expected. I think I could read the description a little more carefully and figure out the size, but what's interesting about that? I travel for work to various client locations so this is actually a great size to put in my everyday bag, although I might want to find a small case for it so it doesn't break in my bag. Very handy for webinars or conference calls where a laptop's speaker and mic just can't handle it. Connects to a computer or phone via Bluetooth, but usually USB is used for a computer. Not because of the device, but because I just find Bluetooth annoying on any computer - just make sure to click the connect button to disable bluetooth or the computer won't recognize it. I didn't even need drivers in Windows 10. It just appeared and became a speaker and microphone. It's not designed for hi-fi, but works well with audio and VoIP apps on my iPhone XS Max - even with some background music to add some noise to a quiet office. Same sound quality via USB on my laptop. Changing the volume triggers the volume LED ring on the device, which is a good thing. Made a few calls on the laptop using Teams, Skype, all sounded great. Captured my voice nice and clear even when I wasn't speaking directly to him and people heard me perfectly. I even picked up my barking dog in several rooms and let me know I was working from home! This is a massive improvement over the headset or the Echo I always get from the laptop's built-in mic. Does not support multi-channel mode, so only one Bluetooth device can be used at a time. It would be nice if multiple Bluetooth devices were paired at the same time. USB-C versus Micro-USB would be nice, but it's no big deal. The buttons are flush with the device, so you won't be sure if you're pressing something until the LED changes or you see a voice response. The speakerphone reads out the number when a call comes in, but it's VERY slow - until the entire number is read, any normal person will hang up. The voice has a quirky British accent, if that's what you're into. The manual is a small pamphlet with fine print, but I was able to understand almost everything without resorting to it. I mention this because it's quite funny that the device is printed upside down (to me at least) on the front of the box. When I use it the power button is on the top and on the box it is on the bottom. Just something stupid that missed the design review. I like it! Keep looking for reasons to use it. I'm surprised I haven't bought something like this before. Photo next to my iPhone XS Max.
