Edit: I just noticed that the Kensington software overrides the DPI and scroll settings on my other computer mice. Very annoying. This is my first trackball. I was about to order the Expert Wireless when I saw this new model show up at Revain. I had to try it because it felt more ergonomic, has a slightly smaller footprint, and has 5 assignable buttons instead of 4. The overall shape fits my hand well. I've spent a few hours with him and I don't think there will be any problems with fatigue. The keys have a great feel. Very tactile and well located. The movement of the ball is smooth, maybe a little small for two fingers, but I have big hands. However, it works well if you only use your fingertips. Also, the ball stays in place when flipped upside down. Now I'm a little unsure about the rolling ring. The position makes sense to me, but I randomly move the cursor with the ball by scrolling my index finger from the left side of the ring, which feels more natural to me than scrolling my middle finger. "Free Scroll" wheel without notches. Also, my unity scroll appears to swing around the base of the ring. From time to time as you spin the 360 degree scroll, the wheel seems to get caught on something inside. Hope that won't be a problem.
