Review on ☕️ K&J 12-Pack of Cuisinart Compatible Replacement Charcoal Water Filters for Coffee Makers - Ideal for Cuisinart and Braun BrewSense Coffee Makers by Adam Taylor

Don't buy them if you don't want gunk in your coffee!

I bought these and cleaned our coffee maker with a professional descaling and cleaning formula before putting in the first filter. About a month later the cleaning light on my Cuisinart coffee pot came on, which I found odd! And I noticed this sediment on the pot itself and a film on the top of the coffee. The situation kept getting worse, so I threw that filter away and did another full coffee cleaning with a solution of vinegar and water, as recommended in the manual. I put in a new filter because I have 12 in a pack! And yes, I soaked and rinsed both filters VERY thoroughly before putting them in. Now, just two days after the second clear, the GANK is BACK! I've never seen anything like it! This coffee pot is less than 6 months old, there is NO other reason for that. It's too late to send them back, they go in the bin and I ordered genuine Cuisinart filters. Do yourself a favor, stay away from them, you get what you pay for and that's junk that just ruins your coffee! I cringe at the thought of us drinking this goo! The point of a good coffee maker with a water filtration system is to avoid this problem. It would be better without filters! Very frustrating!

Pros
  • MICROMESH MATERIAL - ensures that the activated carbon stays in the filter and does not clog the Cuisinart coffee maker. K&J is currently the highest quality filter on the market!
Cons
  • unreliable
