The lights look great, though I'm not sure where I would want the dimmer module. In my installation, I installed 42" wall cabs and installed the dimmer near the top(out of the way and out of reach), connected to a switched outlet. Wiring can be a pain, and I recommend the extra wiring kit unless you only need a single strip. I had multiple connections with 3 separate sections. No matter how clean you think the surface is, wipe it off with alcohol or the sticky backing may not hold. I ended up adding some 3M double-stick tape and a couple of the small brackets from the separate install kit. Also, if your counter top is reflective(like my quartz counters), make sure you stick the strips carefully and straight so the reflection doesn't show everyone that you didn't pay attention:). BTW, the wiring kit was a bit shy on details, so be aware that the plastic connectors unclip on one side and open so you can insert the cut end of the LED strips with the contacts under the contact tabs(this will make sense when you see it up close).
