Review on πŸ’¦ Rubbermaid Leak-Proof Sip Water Bottle Review: 32 oz Aqua Waters - Features & Benefits! by Paul Milonas

Too big to fit in a car cup holder or handy

I was looking for a refillable water bottle that can be used in the car and at sports and I was particularly drawn to Rubbermaid's sealed water bottle design: a straw is included so all you have to do is suck on the mouthpiece instead of twisting and removing the bottle cap like I usually do. Rubbermaid's design also seemed better in terms of preventing damage from accidentally tipping a water bottle over, as I've done on more than one occasion. There's a lot to like about this bottle: 1.) The sip/straw design mentioned above. 3.) BPA composition, meaning no worries about chemical water pollution. 4.) Dishwasher safe (top shelf). 5.) Has a rigid carry handle for easy carrying and/or attaching to a backpack. Unfortunately, these plus points are outweighed by a very big minus: 1.) The diameter of the bottle is quite large. It wouldn't fit in the cup holders in my car or the elliptical trainers at the gym, and those were the two places I wanted to use this water bottle the most. I would advise any potential buyer to get a ruler for the cup holders in your car and make sure they fit the 3.5" diameter of this bottle. Also, the girth was large enough to be awkward to hold; half a bottle (see attached photo). The bottle was already up, but it's not a natural place to grab it. So, as much as I wanted to like this bottle, it turned out not to be suitable for my needs. . I will gift it to my son who at 6'1 has a lot more hands and may find it more to his liking.
