A little too big best in bed frame

First of all I would like to say that this frame is worth the money, very stable, lots of space under the bed. I'm happy with it, but it's definitely not perfect and it has its downsides. CONS: The information says your mattress will not slip. YES, THAT'S RIGHT. My mattress is the exact size of a king bed, but the frame is a bit too big. They have a few inches around them, and that's enough for the mattress to slide left, right, up, or down. I wasn't expecting the frame to be the exact size, but it has enough room to move around. Planks are too far apart. While this is not a problem for the middle section of the mattress, it is a problem for the top and bottom ends. This is because the mattress is slippery. If the mattress is too far back, the mattress edge (front) is exactly between the last two slats of the frame. If you sit on the edge, it falls through the slats. The same happens if the mattress is pushed too far forward. The edges of the frame and legs are killer! Really sharp corners that will make you cry if you bang your shins while making the bed. I know I could easily have bought a frame with rounded corners, but this frame cost over a hundred dollars (when I bought this one), so I bought this one instead. Like I said, I love the frame and it seems really secure, but you'll definitely need to buy some wood planks/slabs/boards to cover the top and bottom slat space. Pipe insulation foam noodles to cover the legs and corners of the bed to prevent leg and foot injuries. They're cheap at Home Depot. Last but not least, get a memory foam lining for the bottom of your mattress to keep it in place. 1 inch thick is good enough, Target has one online for $20. I know this may seem like a lot, but it's still cheaper than buying another frame that might fit better. Sometimes when you're on a tight budget, you have to do what you have to do to be comfortable. I have included photos of the foam I used and the mattress coming out from between the last slats where I said a board is needed to prevent this.
