Review on Janlynn Feathers Flora Stitch Supplies by Hannah Curi

I bought this practice kit because I haven't embroidered in years. As one would expect at this price point, this isn't a great kit. The threads are not of the best quality, the colors do not match the picture. They are not separated or already combed and some are very difficult to distinguish except under very strong neutral light or outdoors in the sun. However, the strands are considered correct, which is nice. All parts are on the same strip, not separate. The designs are very small. I work under a lighted magnifying glass. There are some questionable details, for example there are 7 seams in a wing that measures about 1 inch. "How to make stitches" instructions can seem confusing. Images with stitches and flowers are very small and very light, apart from the outline stitches, so take a magnifying glass and turn off the light. I find the whole thing looks much better with a single skein as 2 skeins tend to look chunky at a small size and doesn't mix the colors well when needed. 5" max because to use my 6" I had to sew extra fabric around the edges to hold everything in place. I didn't feel like going back to the store for a 5 inch bezel. Expect high quality or decent editing, but this will be refreshed before I get to the harder part. If you're a casual embroiderer who just needs a quick project, this is a cute project without spending a lot of money.
