Review on πŸ§‡ Stainless Steel Round Flip Belgian Cuisinart Waffle Maker by Nancy Ortega

Revainrating 5 out of 5

consistent results, good for waffle irons

I only use spray oil on the first waffle. I don't use non-stick spray, just plain oil. The waffles are very stable, no surprises. Different settings and tests produce different results, but these results are the same for that setting/test. I use cupcake recipes with an additional 1/2 cup of milk and it works great. I use the 3/4 cup that comes with the kit and not once did the batter come out. I wish it had a beep, but oh well. I'm not a fan of waffles so I was surprised that even the "crispy" waffles weren't as crispy as I expected. I put the toaster on the table and anyone who wants it crispier puts it in. They don't overcook, don't burn and come out crispy. This is an even better idea for all the waffles I pop in the freezer. Take one out, touch the "Freeze" button, press the "Start" button. Excellent. I only use paper towels for cleaning. Yes, you have to spend some time on it, but it wears off immediately. Basically the only thing that can be wiped away is moisture. I've never had raw dough, burnt dough, etc. Final comment, it works great but be careful with it. If the dough has nuts etc. in it, close it slowly to allow it to set. They can break plastic and flimsy metal if you expect too much of it.

Pros
  • Non-stick coating for easy food removal and cleaning
Cons
  • Not sure
