I didn't like this mount at all. The scheme is complex and does not work. I tried really hard to make it work and finally gave up. I ended up ordering a different mount and discarding the OSD mount. First of all, none of the holes matched my new Sony TV, so I decided to drill additional holes. When I was hanging the tv there were velcro straps hanging underneath the tv so I decided to cut them off as I don't need them to detach the small parts that are pulling the tv off the wall. Finally, after everything was done, the bottom of the TV didn't quite push against the wall. Because there is no locking mechanism to fix the floor, which is more or less floating under the force of gravity. My TV was only 1/2 inch from the wall at the top but 1 inch from the bottom and wobbled. If you want your TV to be securely mounted to the wall like I am then you won't like this mount.
