This is exactly what I needed. I got a gaming headset for Christmas because I like playing games on my computer, but I didn't have a very good working microphone to talk to my friends. I was very happy to use them, but after plugging the headset into my laptop I was disappointed to see that the headphone jack didn't recognize it. After testing the headset on other computers and realizing it was my laptop's problem, I almost bought a new laptop. Luckily, my brother recommended I get some kind of adapter to plug my headphones into a different port. I bought it straight away and couldn't be happier! It is compact and easily recognized by my laptop. It also saved me hundreds of dollars that I would have spent on a new computer! I definitely recommend this product.
