I have to admit that I usually make coffee the old-fashioned way, using boiling water and a drip filter that fits over the cup, but recently I've added another coffee maker to my house, and this method works to be labor intensive. I reluctantly went in search of a coffee maker I could live with and looked at very trendy gadgets and then stumbled upon this beauty. This coffee maker had a very vintage look, which suited my aesthetic perfectly. While it didn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the others I was considering had, I bought it because it just looked amazing. When it arrived I unwrapped it and squeaked like a little girl on Christmas morning. What a BEAUTIFUL coffee maker. And most importantly, it makes great coffee! Not as hot as my old-school method, but the perfect temperature for my instant drinking. It's easy to maintain and I can set the coffee maker to turn on and start brewing at 4:30 every morning. (Yes, I get up early). If you love things retro, this coffee maker is for you! If you like a simple coffee maker that makes great coffee, then this coffee maker is for you! Enthusiastic thumbs up!
