Review on WeatherX WR282B Weather Alert Radio by Emmanuel Pictorial

This is an excellent Weather Radio with AM, FM and Weather Band settings. However, it does not (as far as stated in the instructions or a label on the radio) have the ALERT function that many other radios offer. This radio cannot be turned into a weather station and left in alarm mode so that it "turns on" and alerts you in the event of an emergency. If you need the weather feature and are worried about an upcoming storm, you should leave it on the weather channel and listen to constant streaming weather updates in an emergency. I live in Florida and that would mean leaving it on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - that would become obsolete very quickly.
