Review on πŸŽ™οΈ TONOR TC20 XLR Condenser Microphone Kit: Professional Studio Mic with T20 Boom Arm, Shock Mount, and Pop Filter - Ideal for Recording, Podcasting, Voice Over, Streaming, Home Studio, YouTube by Crystal Spicer

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value for a new streamer/podcaster

Pros The boom bar is one of the best barbells I've used at this price point. Really good cable ties. Condenser Cons: The XLR cable barely fit into the combo jack on my audio interface and I had to push it all the way in. When moving, a slight springy noise can be heard from the boom of the microphone. . There's nothing an equalizer can't fix. In general I think that someone who has the ability to use a phantom powered condenser mic and needs an "all in one" can use that mic and then upgrade to a better mic. The arrow will serve you for a very long time and will satisfy the needs of most users. If you buy this and want a mic that you don't have to fiddle with, look elsewhere. This mic needs some processing to sound as good as more expensive condensers, but don't let that discourage you if you're looking for a budget option. The mic sounds decent, but falls short of what's on offer around the $100 mark.

Pros
  • Cardioid Polar Pattern: The TC20 uses a cardioid polar pattern with excellent off-axis noise reduction capabilities to reduce side and rear noise and better eliminate background noise. Ideal for recording vocals and acoustic instruments.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
