Difficult to dress

Maybe I'm just stupid about dressing, but I found it very difficult to dress. The needle and thread method was too weak to pull through the elastic. I went to YouTube and even though I watched a few videos I couldn't turn them on. After reading the answer above, I came up with a different answer. I am a retired nurse and when I was a nursing student we were given surgical staples that were no longer suitable for surgery. I have some. They're like little pliers. This turned out to be a great solution for me. The cup's silicone is rubbery and will stretch slightly. I pushed the end of the clamp through the SMALL hole. I straightened it out a bit and put the end of the clamp through. Hardly. Then I could grab the double rubber band and pull it through the big hole. Did. Woo hu. I bought these masks online. These are the ones that have a piece of elastic sewn into a circle on each side. Pretty sure it's 1/4 elastic. I'm wondering if some strong tweezers or jewelry pliers can work as mentioned above. See my photos.
