The two I received are not very bright HOWEVER they meet all the requirements to have the lights on your license plates/tags mandatory so that's good enough for me. One just fell apart from not being touched, but the screws held it together normally. I think they are ABS so don't use them in direct sunlight if you want a permanent fix. They appear to be waterproof, but overall just cheap junk.
