Review on Skechers Afterburn πŸ‘Ÿ Strike Lace-Up Men's Sneakers by Shawn Vennakota

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very comfortable multi-purpose shoe, especially when using custom-made orthopedic insoles

Find good walking/hiking shoes for your upcoming trips. Mainly wears New Balance (requires a very wide sizing and roomy toe box as I use custom orthotic insoles) but wanted something that breathes (vs leather) and would have preferred a stronger sole (vs Newbalance 928 - very comfortable , breathable, but also). white and poor support) but was VERY skeptical about buying the Sketchers as I've always thought of them as shoes for teenage girls. Was very impressed with this shoe. 4 watts was almost 4 watts. The shoes were very light and the sole gripped well. I easily removed the bonded memory foam insole, put in my custom orthotics, and even tried putting the flat memory foam insole back in place and it worked pretty well. Would have liked a little more room in the tongue area but by adjusting the laces I was able to wear both quite comfortably. I would have preferred the tongue to be a bit wider because when I loosened the laces to accommodate both insoles there were small gaps on one side of the tongue so I had to move the tongue to one side to hide the socks. So far the show seems very comfortable on concrete, steps and sufficiently warm weather. Standard insoles give the feeling of walking on air. Durability is probably not as strong as it sounds, but we'll see. By the way, you can't go wrong with the price anyway - great value for money good shoes.
