After replacing the memory foam insoles, I like them.

I like the style and the fact that they are very wide. The main downside is the memory foam insoles that are used in many running shoes these days. Since memory foam is short-lived, maybe companies are selling more shoes? Whatever the cause, my bad experience with memory foam insoles led me to conclude that memory foam works well in mattresses, but when your full weight is on your feet, it shrinks all the way to the bottom and ends up only staying there a few months without leaving any…

I always went a long way before finding Skechers and found their "normal" wide sneakers that suit me. My problem, apart from cheaper (quality) brands, wasn't that I personally needed a "wide" width. These are the nameless brands that are giving me YEARS back. were too narrow for their normal running shoes. I've never had this problem with Skechers in "regular" width. They're wider than usual, but there's nothing unwearable about them, they don't feel awkward or anything. As someone who had an…

Comfortable, durable 8 miles a day

This is my first purchase from Skechers and a very good shoe. I run an average of 8 to 10 miles a day. I usually wear orthotics, but I've decided to forgo them and use gel inserts and my feet have been fine. The middle of the heel on the gel inserts was worn out. Before buying these shoes I had a pair of new scales that I could listen to for 3 months. New Balance said I didn't tie my laces properly and that's why the inside of the back of the heel is worn out. These Sketchers shoes have lasted…

Good value, comfortable

My son has very wide feet with a low arch and takes great care in his shoes - he loves them. This was the fourth pair we've bought and as he wears them out we will be buying more! He says they're really comfortable and I know they are because they're the first shoe he can't complain about. He won't untie them to put them on and take them off, so now we have shoehorns for him, otherwise over time putting them on will wear down the inside of the back of the heel - there's a sharp metal or plastic

TERRIBLE SOLES! Comfortable, yes, but no traction or stability.

So the shoes themselves are excellent and a good size. However, the memory foam makes it impossible to attach them to the leg, preventing blood circulation in the legs. I really like the shoe styles, but the obligatory memory foam is a disaster that makes me stop buying skaters. I mean, what's the point of wearing a shoe that slips over your feet and only provides proper support when you're sitting down. When I walk, my toes get stuck in the front of the shoe because there is no grip on the…

Find good walking/hiking shoes for your upcoming trips. Mainly wears New Balance (requires a very wide sizing and roomy toe box as I use custom orthotic insoles) but wanted something that breathes (vs leather) and would have preferred a stronger sole (vs Newbalance 928 - very comfortable , breathable, but also). white and poor support) but was VERY skeptical about buying the Sketchers as I've always thought of them as shoes for teenage girls. Was very impressed with this shoe. 4 watts was…
