I recently lost an old "friend" when my favorite white plastic (ie non-metal) bowl broke and smashed against me! It was an older, very loved one who had been with me for a few decades. It was the only bowl I've ever used to make my Amish Friendship Bread (a homemade yeast bread recipe that requires the use of non-metallic bowls and utensils). I knew what I wanted in a new bowl and I found it in this new white, sturdy, well-made bowl. It's bigger and nicer than my old one. I love using it! I'll be posting pics soon when my next batch of AFB is ready to bake.
