I had high hopes for these 14k gold stud earrings but unfortunately they didn't live up to my expectations. While cute and definitely dainty, the pearls seem on the small side and the overall size of the earrings is actually smaller than I expected. I also had some issues with sterling silver pins irritating my sensitive ears which was a big disappointment. However, the butterfly clasps provided a secure fit and prevented the earrings from falling out. All in all these earrings would make a good gift for someone with very small ears who isn't bothered by metal sensitivity, but for everyone else I'd recommend finding something more solid.
