I have mixed feelings about this mold set. I knew they would be used specifically for individual desserts so I wanted them to have lids and I love that feature. I'm a little torn about making an Apple Crisp and within 10 minutes of taking it out of the oven the cobblers were already cool enough to melt the ice on top easily. I loved that we could eat 350° baked sugar 10 minutes after taking it out of the oven after cooking it for 35 minutes but thought what if I wanted to make a mini chicken pie. Does it get too cold before you've finished eating? Maybe! The mold is much thinner than other molds, which makes me wonder why it cools so quickly. It was very easy to clean which was nice. I noticed that on the underside of the plate were lines from our first use of metal shoemakers' spoons. This time I made banana pudding and I love that I can put it in the fridge and let it rest with the lid on. The lids are made of flexible silicone, which I liked as they stick together and don't slip when stacked. I like the versatility because of the lid, but I'm not sure it stays warm for long because of the thinness of the bowl. I'd recommend them, but be warned, they're best served with cold desserts, or just be aware that you should serve oven baked ones right away.
