Review on Double Duplex Magnetic Water Softener for Enhanced SEO by Michael Finnegan

No problem, it works

Contrary to what many people think, this magnetic process actually reduces hard water build-up in sinks and toilets. No problem, it works. It doesn't soften the water, but it does change how hard water minerals stick to things. My water is 25 gpg which is very hard water with no iron. Taking care of raw water requires a lot of work, time and money. It usually requires the use of the most harsh chemicals, soaking and scrubbing. I installed this in early January and by mid-February there is no doubt that it is working. The sinks got a shine that wasn't there before and I didn't have to descale them. Toilets have not been cleaned with harsh chemicals or strong abrasives and should shine. While it may not be easy to explain, it does something useful for people with very hard water. It may not work as well with water that isn't as hard, which might explain why others haven't noticed the change. First I didn't clean the sinks and toilets after installation and didn't notice any change. But I decided to clean them well to check them better. I had to use a pumice stone to clean everything but that was the last time I had to. I could see a difference after a week but still wasn't 100% sure. After 4 weeks I was convinced. It makes my house so much easier for water in everything. I only have this on my cold water side, not sure how the hot water side would work given the heat. I have a water softener on the hot water side but not on the cold water side. And there were many problems with the cold water softening, it would have been expensive to relocate the pipes to make room for the softener next to the main pipe. And for the softener to work, you need to install an electrical line. And it costs more than salt and of course salt in terms of drinking water. The harder the water, the more sodium goes into the water. With the hard water I have, it contains high levels of sodium. This solution is correct for cold water, no question. Hope this helps someone contemplating this approach. UPDATE: It's been almost 4 months since I installed this device. The results are excellent, hard water accumulation is very slow or non-existent. It doesn't accumulate in my sinks, which is great. Recently (after 4 months) the toilet had a small amount of plaque but was easy to clean. At the moment I only use commercially available toilet cleaners, I haven't had to use highly acidic cleaners yet. When I open the top of the toilet bowl I see a lot of small floating particles. I've tried flushing the tank several times, but the particles haven't gone away or decreased in number. I think it's hardware minerals combined into greater size. That's probably why hardware issues aren't that important. Minerals stick to themselves, not anything they touch. I can still recommend this product, it helped a lot in my situation.
