Just like wired carplay
I installed this in my 2019 UConnect 8.4 RAM used with an iPhone 12. Setup was easy, as was the software update, which I did just before using it. Because the RAM powers the USB ports when the door is open, Carplay is usually on my screen and visible before I turn on the car. Otherwise, the delay is no more than a few seconds. All in all a much better experience than I expected.
