We wear a lot of sweatshirts in my house - it helps us reduce our electricity consumption and save on our heating bills by keeping the thermostat lower. This one is clearly a step above in terms of quality - well made, soft and slightly stretchy to wear over regular clothing. The oversized hood provides excellent weather protection when worn outdoors. The zipper is very strong and can withstand sudden strong pulls when you are in a hurry. My only complaint - and this is a very small one - is that the cuffs have a lot of threads sticking out that need trimming - where the body of the sleeve meets the cuff - that's the area that will be exposed if you roll up up the cuffs. as we often do. Otherwise it's a perfect hoodie in perfect navy blue.
