In Wyoming weather, we often wear sweatshirts. However, I'm not a big fan of 100% cotton sweatshirts as they fade and shrink very quickly. I'm looking for polyester blend hoodies and stay away from white. I bought this sweatshirt for my 7 year old son and it is perfect. It's "stretchy and soft," he says, but thick enough to keep him warm on a chilly fall morning. This time of year (fall) he prefers wearing sweatshirts to coats, which is a good compromise for mom.

Fits my son as expected. Just a little big but thought it might shrink by just a hair. Also, he's quite tall for his age at 44 inches, about 37 pounds, and his birthday was just last month. He loves zips and most of his zips were previously Nautica 4T or 5T. So Thappy had the opportunity to pick it up for him. There is no internal annoying label and it is nice to touch and look at.

Soft hoodie and well constructed with double overlapped seams. It washes well and usually goes in the wash at least once a week. It will likely grow out before the fabric wears out or the color begins to fade. We bought a size up so he can wear multiple layers of underwear. Goes well with his navy blue school uniform.
