Review on ☕ ZUCCOR Milano Black Gourmet Coffee Maker - 32 oz - Heat Resistant Borosilicate Glass by Nicole King

So far, so good: coffee, tea and espresso

I only received this press today and after viewing it I am satisfied with the price. The lid doesn't fit as well as we'd like, but the materials, while cheap, show little design quality. Realize that a cheap French press works almost as well as an expensive one. The proof is in the durability and the compromise between form and function. The issue of thermo glass is not important here, since coffee prepared in a press must be poured into a heated cup or thermos practically immediately. Borosilicate glass is nothing more than a type of Pyrex that increases resistance to extreme temperatures. The base is stable and the pressure mechanism is made of steel. Whereby good press pleases with its quality in the long run. The most important factors are the beans and the coffee grinder. I'll be testing the Chinese-made Milano against Bodum Brazil (my favorite budget press) and updating the results. Please note that modern Boduim models are also made in China.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor defects
