Review on ๐Ÿ’ผ TUMI Alpha 3 Deluxe 17 Inch Laptop Case Briefcase - Black | 4 Wheeled Computer Bag for Men and Women by Richard Gross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I have the leather version of this roller bag

Haven't really used it yet but almost a G for Roller Cool IMO Lucky Mine was a giveaway so it's ok. The charging port is a really nice and useful feature if you like to travel. But it's really nothing more than a USB cable coming out of a resealable plastic hole on the bag. You don't have to buy batteries from TUMI and you can bring your own (i.e. the maximum capacity of 33,000 mAh can be allowed on airplanes). I wish all pockets were lockable and not just one for storing a laptop. This is because there is only one zip pull instead of two, so you can't fit a small travel lock on two pulls. Supposedly there's a lot of theft going on on planes these days, especially on buses where you might have to sit with crooks. The skin is delicate to the touch and IMO TSA will definitely make it in time. I think if you're using this to, say, transport documents to a courthouse, materials for sale, or more local road trips, you're less likely to suffer. For heavy air travel, IMO "ballisticโ€ fabric is suitable. Definitely nice to have 4 wheels so you can roll this bag down the aisle of an airplane. I have a Hartman which looks much more durable due to the ballistic material but it only has two wheels and its width is within the norm but its seats are still on an airplane and I have to carry it with me which can be problematic. The Roller Bag comes with a separate laptop sleeve and a foldable shirt pocket, giving it added value at the G IMO price tag. the ability to lock various compartments is much less of a concern than previously indicated. However, I also find the ballistic nylon variant more practical, as it is less susceptible to abrasion even with careful use. Otherwise great designs and another winner from Tumi. Increase my rating from 3 to 4!
