Review on Komax Large Water Pitcher with Lid, 77-oz 🥤 (2.4-quart): Leakproof, BPA-Free, Space-Saving Carafe for Water, Tea, Juice, Lemonade by Jesus Gallagher

I was looking for a quality (but not glass) pitcher for mixing drinks and unfortunately they failed. I bought one and it seemed to work fine - good quality, fairly easy to clean (no hidden gaskets or parts) and they match our fridge doors perfectly so I bought a second one. Unfortunately they are now leaking around the pad after less than 3 months of hand washing and normal use. Although they are never stored on their side, they lick through simple splattering, dripping in the fridge and on the counter. I thought maybe the seal had moved, the lid wasn't moving properly, and/or there was an unknown pressure issue when the lid was pressed, but I couldn't fix the leak. I'll add that now: at first I thought they were easy to clean and spot mold growth, but I was wrong. After disassembling each component to try and fix the leak, I found mold on the liners holding the latch in place.
