This thing died after 3 days of use but it killed so many bugs that I had problems at home. Mosquitoes, no problem, leave that thing in the dark. Flies aren't a problem but they leave an odor that lingers and at first I thought the mechanism had burned out because of it. moths, nom nom. fruit flies? That's where it fails, these little bastards are smart and don't fall for it that easily. They do, but not all. I actually caught them avoiding it by running into other rooms or into ANY other light source to escape. I just want it to get stronger. I gave it away and wouldn't have minded if it died a month later but it only lasted 3 days so 1 star.
