Review on πŸŒ€ Lasko 2002W Personal Fan: Compact 6-Inch White Fan for Personal Cooling Needs by Elizabeth Gonzalez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great as a personal fan but not for cooling a room

This is the second fan I have. The other was on a spring clip. These fans are so quiet they're not good for white noise when you need it. Here are a few things that make this fan different from other fans. First, it's not as powerful as some of the other fans I've tried. I have a clip-on fan attached to the back of my desk that is quiet and provides good air movement without blowing up my papers. The second is for my bedroom. It's further away from me, on the dresser about 4-5 feet from me when I'm sleeping. If I were to rely on this fan to keep me cool at night, it might not work. It's cool at night in Southern California, so we open the windows and turn on the fan to blow cool air. But the cold air doesn't touch me. I got this fan to direct some of the air towards me and it's great. The first fan I tried produced gale force winds even at low speeds, which was too much air movement for me. The final reason it works so well for me is that the dresser it sits on is higher than the bed. The first fan I had wouldn't/couldn't tilt down at all, allowing air to blow directly over me without touching me. This one is pointing down a few degrees, so it's blowing (gently) on me in bed.

Pros
  • Has a compartment for coins and paperclips
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
