The tree is not bad. It looks good, especially if you put some effort into tidying up the branches. The problem lies in the standing. The tree is placed in a heavy plastic urn or vase filled with sand or something else. So far, so good. The problem is that the heavy base is attached to this hollow plastic "plinth," probably to add a few inches of height for marketing purposes. a heavy "urn" with four screws and a few dabs of superglue, so if it breaks (and someday a heavy wood/urn will break that brittle plastic base), it will shatter into jagged and jagged pieces. which are basically impossible to repair or reattach. Using a heavy urn base was exactly the right idea. Adding a light, brittle plastic base for that weight was a terrible idea.
