I am a contract worker and have found I gain a few extra winter pounds in the second half of each year, partly because my movements have been restricted by trousers. . Now I wear them with floppy shorts instead of bags. This makes my job so much easier and allows me to be flexible and move properly because I don't have to struggle with the stiff fabric that traditional work pants are made of. I'm colder than most guys, and these lightweight shorts over it will keep me warm on a Maryland winter (though they won't keep you warm like jeans or traditional work pants).
