Just before the first snow of 2014, I ran this cable to power Definitive (sweet) Street speakers on my new patio. It was November 2014. I cut this wire using SoundSoul banana clips. April, the snow is gone, it's time to run the wires through the deck posts for permanent installation. SIX MONTHS! The first thing I noticed after rotating the banana was oxidation. When I unplugged these connectors, 90-95% of the copper strands were gone. 300 feet of fodder in a landfill.
