Rubber seals around the door ensure efficiency. That was not the case in the old kitchen. The fan housing was bent, made a nasty noise, I had to bend it back, took about 2 hours so I'm only giving 4 stars, QC should have taken that away. The duct tape holding the door left an unpleasant aftertaste that took me ages to get out. A stainless steel microfiber cleaner with citrus oil has worked best, but any oil-based cleaner will likely do the trick. The fan stays on after a power outage, possibly to cool the electronics or to avoid burns. A truly intelligent oven in many ways. Temperature starts at 100 degrees for low dehydration. I love this thing, wish I could give five stars.
