Review on WIX Filters - Heavy Duty Filter Mounting Base 24770 - Pack of 1 by Charles Butler

Small size, looks like a 2 year old made it in a hobby class! The casting/machining of this part is horrible! Sharp edges everywhere, tiny pieces that can fall off at any moment. You feel like you need another filter after that just in case the parts come loose! I've run a wire brush through mine many times, rinsed with water and dried to try and remove the small bits. I then had to double caulk the two plugs to make them seal and twist them out until I thought they might rupture. Yes, I used Napa's premium sealant. The expensive adapters I bought to downsize the fuel line from 1/2" to 5/16" worked great the first time and showed me that even the connectors are screwed up like crap! Buy something else before this item.
