Review on Sewing machine Janome DC 4030, white/pink by Anastazja Kendziora- ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

She gave preference to the more expensive Juki K85, although she initially went to the store for Juki. Despite the lower power relative to that, the lines come out much smoother, the stroke is much quieter and smoother. And of course, a very nice design (I have a white one with a pink trim with flowers :)) girly). In addition to the standard set of bobbins in a box with a machine (5 pcs.), the store also gave a set of branded pink bobbins in a container (there are 25 of them!). Maybe, of course, this is only in this store such generosity :) In general, I do not regret the choice at all, although the experience of using it is still small. Just in this price segment, it seems to me a very decent car! And the price is quite justified. As the store consultant said, the car is very good, and quality claims arise only because of that. that hands do not grow from there :))))) I will add about the hidden zipper. Personally, I sewed a hidden zipper into a dress using the standard zipper foot that comes with the kit, with no effort at all! Although I had problems with old typewriters. True, I first watched a video master class on YouTube from BurdaStyle. Therefore, already having some experience in working with this machine, I can confirm the words of the store consultant with great confidence. Really, people, if your hands don’t grow from there, then you don’t have to blame the typewriter! You need to learn, look for information anywhere and gain experience. And everything will work out. In short, I’ll tell everyone who is interested that I’m still delighted with the machine!

Pros
  • Quiet, does not vibrate, convenient location of all buttons on the case, the presence of very useful lines. Smooth adjustment of sewing speed and the possibility of sewing without a pedal. High-quality loops (automatically sweeps, also several types). Sews jersey quite tolerably (for me it is important)! It sews from thick to fairly thin fabrics, although of course I haven’t tried jeans with several additions and coat fabrics (I don’t need this). Very decent set of paws for all occasions. The ability to buy a model with a hard case and without (I have a hard one).
Cons
  • The location of the accessory storage compartment and the presser foot pressure adjustment lever is inconvenient, but it's all ergonomics that you quickly get used to. The holder for the upper coil is short and there is no additional holder for the second coil. So far no deficiencies have been identified.
