I needed to get some long charging cables for a couple of devices that charge using USB-C type connectors using the Anker fast-charge wall power adapters that I have, and these looked like a good solution, so I tried them out. When they arrived, they looked well-made and worked well.They are reinforced with a braided jacket that should be much more rugged and resistant to breakage than standard plastic jackets that you find on regular cables. I measured the power that they provided using my Kavalan USB-C power meter and found that they did indeed provide higher power throughput than standard gauge cables, but as is always the case, the shorter the cable, the higher the wattage you will get through to the device that you are charging. Always use the shortest cable that will reach the device that you are charging to get the highest power throughput. It is not a fault of the cables, it is just physics. A longer wire of the same gauge will always charge more slowly. I am very pleased with these cables, and they appear and feel to be well made, and I expect them to last a long time. They are a great addition to my cable collection.
