Most hooks of this size that we have used in the past have had a large "screw" on the end. Good ones eventually weaken after repeated use. These RAYTOPS do not have this problem. They are attached to a metal plate that is secured with two screws. The scope of delivery includes screws and dowels. (I don't trust anchors, so I didn't use them.) Velcro straps come in handy for hoses or extensions. The vinyl coating will wear off over time when used to hold sharp objects such as shovels, rakes etc. I don't know, although I don't see it as a big deal. We have used everything in this pack and will be ordering more. They cost a little more than cheap screw-in parts, but they're a lot stronger and worth it!
