You get what you pay for. These pads could be thicker and stronger but for the purpose I bought of buffing a polished surface they do an excellent job. The material is quite soft, although the pile could be heavier and denser. These variables change as the price increases. I doubt I'll bother to wash and reuse these wool pads. I think it's a one-time use for now. The product meets my requirements and I am satisfied with its value. You may want to consider using foam pads as they seem to be more durable and spread the product well and remove residue. A very thin and soft wool pad will then buff your finish to the desired finish. You should experiment until you find the order of product application that best suits your needs. For the money paid these wool pads are good value for money.
