This chair is very easy to assemble, literally turn the chair over, insert the hydraulic rod, place the wheel base on the rod, assemble the wheels. It took longer to unpack from the box than to assemble. It's really convenient. However, I bought it for my daughter to use for homeschooling during the school closure and she only used it for half an hour before deciding she hated it because it doesn't have a tilt function and the back is like that far back is that when you lean against the back of the chair, it feels like you're sitting in a chair. It just seems badly designed. I ended up using it in my office and gave her my chair. One thing I like about it more than other small office chairs is that the seat is much longer and my lower legs don't hurt when I sit on it for a long time.
