I've run duplicate coax cables throughout the house. I used two of these with my FrontierTV FIOS service. No visible signal loss with excellent image quality. To make it work with my FrontierTV, I routed the outgoing coax from my ONT (the big white box that the fiber optic cable enters my house through) to the input side of the two-stage splitter. Then a coax cable from the "out" of my two-way splitter to the coax port on my Frontier router, and then another coax cable from the "out" of my two-way splitter to the "input" port on that splitter. Then from this splitter to my TV. Boundary says I had to do it so my DVR and programming would work correctly. It worked great. One note: I was trying to power my TV through a Leviton powered splitter in my structured panel. Didn't work properly. Very bad picture quality. Also, it's a lot cheaper than a powered splitter.
