I am VERY satisfied with the quality of this item. It seems strong and durable. I believe it will withstand the elements. Installation took 10 to 15 minutes. Removed the plastic panel under the hood covering the radiator. There are 13 plastic clips that you press and release. Once the plastic is removed there is only room to reach down and position the grille emblem exactly where you want it. Tighten the nuts and you're done. Light!
