Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ TechMatte MagGrip Universal Magnetic CD Slot Mini Car Mount: Ultimate Magnetic Grip for Secure Phone Mounting (1 Pack) by Nick Palacio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

5/5 Does what it's supposed to with little to no problems.

I gave this device 5/5 stars because it does what it's supposed to do, and does it pretty well. However, this particular dash panel (Toyota Camry) is flush with the CD player slot so it fits fairly well, but in my Pontiac Grand Prix there is a protrusion above the CD player slot which prevents this unit's magnetic contact with the back panel prevented. . my smart phone. To solve this small problem I bought a magnetic CD player mount with a protruding neck so it doesn't stick out over my CD player. This one drove my mother's Toyota. Now one more thing and that's the little self-adhesive metal pads they give you to stick on the back of your phone or case. The adhesive honestly sucks to say the least but I don't think it's the product's fault. Most phone cases have a textured grip on the back, so if you try to attach one to your phone, it's prone to falling off during a car ride or after the first few bumps. I solved this problem with a few dabs of superglue and now everything works fine. You can also buy phone cases with a "round metal puck" already implanted for you - this didn't work for me, stay away from round metal adhesive mounts, this stuff isn't strong enough for a magnet and it will fall off the first hit. Above. The rectangular bracket fitted perfectly to the back of my budget case with a little superglue. Hope that helps. By the way, I have a fairly heavy LG Stylo 4, the phone in the photo is my mother's Stylo 3.
