Good for small rooms, small speakers

I have no idea why people were complaining about the Nintendo 90's style UI. Does that make a good receiver? In fact, I was happy to have an on-screen interface because I'm used to programming from the receivers' front screens, which display 15 characters in total. Thing is, I saw those reviews and thought they were stupid. However, one day I received an update notification from Denon. After the update, the user interface is more modern and has a higher resolution. The company listened and delivered the crying babies. For the actual recipient. My friend gave me two front speakers. When I found the specs on it I found that my receiver was too weak for RMS to power them. They still sound very good and I watch everything I want in good quality, but I really need to turn it on for my loud movies to get loud. or stun the crowd while playing music. I'm used to cranking the receiver up to 33% before stopping because they're too loud. but I regularly increase this number to 66-75%. That's no problem I think. All I know is that the rms value of what a receiver puts out is way too low for any type of floorstanding speaker. unless they are super-slim towers with two 2-inch speakers. If your tower has more than one 6.5" speaker. You can already start looking for a more powerful receiver. I think the ideal front speakers for this are good bookshelf speakers. Other than that, all other features are great. I use ONE remote (my AppleTV remote) and it syncs with my TV and AppleTV. Turns itself off when everything is off. Make sure your items are CEC/ARC compliant beforehand. I have a nuance but I can't tell it yet. Randomly, my receiver turns on when nobody is in the living room (ghost?). I think it's because my AppleTV is turned on for an update or something. or because it launched a promotional screensaver containing a video. Eventually it turns off. But I think it's an Apple TV. *shrugs*
