Prewash/First Impression Great! I ordered a king size in white. Arrived neatly packaged, no signs of opening/use found. I immediately felt that the duvet is very soft and thin, just what I was looking for to put between my top sheet and quilt. I have a queen bed (I always order king comforters so they have that extra curl) so I can't confirm they will fit a true king, but they are the perfect size for my queen. Has about 12 inches of overhang on each side and maybe 15 inches at the end of the bed so I can tuck it into my mattress (even with 2 inches of memory foam fill) and still have plenty on the bed. a bed to crawl under. White is a true white with no hint of ivory or cream. Immediately I didn't notice any other comforters or sheets pulling or falling off as other reviews have mentioned. It does a great job of keeping you warm yet breathable! With that said, here are the only questionable things I have to say: 1.) Is it flannel? It's difficult to say. It looks and feels like a flimsy fleece, but when you hold it up to the light it looks like there is flannel fabric inside somewhere. Maybe they wove them together into this quilt? Or whoever makes them got the words flannel and fleece mixed up. Anyway, I knew what I was buying by looking at the pictures and reading other reviews, so I wasn't expecting an actual flannel. 2.) The softness I'm experiencing now certainly won't survive the first wash, and I half expect the soft fibers to start knotting within the first week or two. Either way, it's still softer and cozier than a regular woven thermal blanket. Conclusion: Top price-performance ratio. Expect bumps in cosmetic endurance but otherwise works well in terms of temperature control. The white color is true white and the king size fits a queen with the perfect overhang. There is no way I would gift this to a plush snob, but would consider it for an office gift fair or Christmas party. Hope that helps! I will update my rating if my predictions don't come true.
