Review on VELPEAU 👍 Compression Thumb Support Brace by Drew Poulin

When I first saw the packaging with these thumb braces, I thought that anything that comes in such a small package can't help my finger, it just can't provide support. Boy was I wrong. These things are great. I don't know exactly what's going on with my left thumb, but I know it hurts a lot. I have a larger corset shown in the two photos I have worn. The big bracket serves a purpose, but it's too restrictive. These VELPEAU orthoses are extremely light while still providing enough support to keep my thumb relatively stable. I now wear these thumb braces 24/7. I still use the large shackle when I do needlework (I do a lot of yard and gardening) but even with the larger shackle I leave the VELPEAU shackle under the large shackle. This makes the large orthosis more comfortable. I have washed VELPEAU braces several times and they are still like new. I only wash the one I wear in the shower at night and use the other to sleep. Washed dry in the morning and ready to use. I am delighted with these braces, they have eliminated a lot of pain and I highly recommend trying them.
