Review on 🖤 OXO Good Grips Silicone Sink Strainer: Maximizing Efficiency in Black by Quvarious Morrow

Having tried several sink strainers I am pleased to report that the OXO strainer is the clear winner. I was sick of the strainer moving into the sink plug position and creating a muddy pillar of water while I was flushing things, forcing me to stick my hands in to try and turn the damn counter to the right. Ability to flush water down the drain. Aggravating. This sieve is just a sieve. It grabs large chunks of whatever you put in the sink and is easy to pick up and bang against the bin to toss stuck items in the bin. I had no problems with food sticking to the sieve - even processed cheese falls off immediately. My last screen was a wire screen and I spent a lot of time cleaning the thing and cursing it because everything seemed to stick and stick to the wire. I had no problems with this filter. It stays clean and is easy to clean. I just empty it, wipe with a soapy paper towel, rinse and replace. Magic!* Update November 2015 Still loving this sink strainer. It still looks brand new and I've been using it in my kitchen sink for over six months now. It was a real solution to the problems and I'm so glad I found it!
